His impeccable vocal range and versatility of voice enables him to sing in the voices of many Bollywood greats including Kishore Kumar, Arijit Singh, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigham and Rahath Fateh Ali Khan and many more. Jazz has been on Asian music scene since the age of 11, born and bred in UK he is the first generation of music in his family. He has a natural ability to play many instruments including Guitar, Drums, Keyboards and Saxophone and has taken vocal tuition in the styles of Khayal and Thumri. Jazz grew up listening to the songs of the late Kishore Kumar and has since been inspired by him and other singers like Mohammed Rafi, Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
In the 80's he formed a new wave Bhangra band Anaamika which became very popular with its new fresh looks and sounds. He then realised his passion for Bollywood music in 1995 and it was at this time that he formed the Bollywood band Revive. Since then he has gone from strength to strength performing both in the UK and worldwide and recording many albums including the Lovers Dreams series and the album Reach produced by Revive.
Some highlights of his career include singing in the finals of the British Asian Song Contest in 2003, at the launch party of Amitabh Bachan's Bade Miya Chote Miya and singing in front of thousands including Salman Khan, Dia Mirza and Fardeen Khan at the Indian International Film Awards in 2007 at the Roundhay Park in Leeds. More recently Jazz has organised, directed and sung in Kishore Kumar, RD Burman and Mohammed Rafi Tribute concerts around the UK and Canada.
Jazz is available to sing with Guitar, backing music or with a live band for Concerts, Festivals, Weddings, Parties, Mehfils, Mehendi Parties and Co-operate events.
